It is a fact that the principle of "hands are in front of each other" is going to be a key part of the routine however, it is evident that there is a growing faith and need to be face-to-face with people. Rotary is evolving. In the summer of 2021, there's a lingering sense of uncertainty about whether our social service includes the highly valued human connection experienced by Rotary members of the past. While the "hands looking outwards" mantra is sure to become a regular routine at our organization it is clear that there is a feeling of trust is growing and more members make face-to-face connections. Rotary has also changed. Rotary network helps to create lasting friendships. The outbreak has forced us to improve our technological practices. We maintain our business online while also reintroducing our activities for service and social. To create an exciting new future, we've taken the new possibilities and merged them with some of our most effective pre-pandemic strategies. It was encouraging to learn that 75% of Rotary clubs plan to continue their "business regular" activities. In the summer months, many Rotary members have been out in the public, focusing their attention on a variety of initiatives, including beach and river tidy-ups and trash pick-ups. Watch this video 1.
